Day County, South Dakota

Day County is located in northeast South Dakota. It is named for Merritt H. Day, a local pioneer.
The seat and the largest city are both Webster. The county is largely agricultural, with rolling terrain. Main highways through the county include US-12, SD-25 and SD-27.
It borders Marshall, Roberts, Codington, Grant, Clark, Spink and Brown Counties.
